There are plenty of alternatives to driving, waiting at the light, and driving some more. Many are a lot more fun, healthy, ecological, relaxing, efficient, and social.
Just found out about last night's meeting. Sorry I missed it. The proposed trails look wonderful though I'd like to see some east-west connections included so they could actually be used to navigate functionally around the city and not just for recreation. Thank you for all your work for our future. bjarrell
Loren is a Sociology Professor at Centenary College. His research is about how everyday social interaction is therapeutic--both for individuals and their communities, and how the way we we live can affect that. He teaches "Society and Technology," "Urban Sociology," and "Race and Ethnicity."
